Dr.
Zegart is a 1964 graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and
was certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1970.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and
Gynecology, and for many years a member of the American College of
Physician Executives. He has served
as an Associate Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the
University of Louisville School of Medicine.
Dr.
Zegart completed the Program for Health Care Negotiations and Conflict
Resolution Leadership at Harvard University School of Public Health in
April 2001. Dr.
Zegart has served as a consultant with Kentucky Medical Insurance
Corporation and currently serves as a Director of the Physician, Inc, an
independent practice association and is a member of the American Medical
Association, Kentucky Medical Association and the Jefferson County Medical
Society. He has served both
as a consultant and expert witness in medical malpractice litigation.
He has been active in the Louisville community and served on many
community non-profit projects and Boards.
